Project name: Philips UHP Phase I & Phase II A/B

Abstract:
Philips UHP is an assembling workshop to produce ultra high pressure (UHP) lamps. Philips installed 4 production lines in phase I. After completion, a project carried out to modify and extend the existing facilities. DHV was assigned to make a Program of Requirement both for phase I and II. In addition, DHV was awarded the turnkey contract respectively.



Project name: Biolux FAME Plant

Abstract:
FAME is Fatty Acid Methyl Ester which is an additive that oil companies add to diesel fuel. When this has been added the diesel is called bio-diesel. Every day, 2100 tons of rapeseed will be processed to 820 tons of FAME in Biolux FAME Plant.

Biolux contracted DHV to provide project management services during the construction of a new FAME production plant in Nantong, China. DHV's main tasks include design and site supervision (primarily for the structural and civil engineering components), coordination between the various parties, applications for construction permits and for the provision of connections for electricity, water, wastewater, steam and drainage.

Project name: Siemens Shanghai Medical Equipment

Abstract:
Siemens Shanghai Medical Equipment (SSME) new plant accommodates two of medical equipment secondary production areas: one for Computed Tomography (CT) and one for X-ray therapy. The operations focus on research & development (R&D), manufacturing and packing. Marketing, Sales, Training and general management functions are also accommodated. DHV was assigned to assist SSME in evaluating the tender. In addition, DHV are responsible for further the supervision of the design steps, the total procurement and the construction management.


Project name: DSM China Campus

Service scope: Feasibility study, PoR + initial design, engineering, client representative

Abstract:
New DSM China Campus is consist of one office building and two R&D buildings which will accommodate approximately 500-600 persons working at DSM China¡¯s office and R&D functions. Each building has 5 floors and connected by a corridor housing the public facilities on the first level. An underground garage will be built beneath the three buildings for a possible 141 number of cars.

DHV together with CIE (a famous Dutch Architect Firm) to develop an Architectural schematic design for DSM; afterward, DSM awarded a service contract to DHV for new assignment of Program of Requirement and Initial design. Result of previous work, DSM decided to realize the project and retain DHV as an Engineering and Project Management company to fulfill the role of engineering and client representative during the whole project development.

 

Project name: Philips Innovation Campus

Service scope: Master planning, architectural concept design, PoR+ initial design, engineering and client representative

Abstract:
Philips has the intention to establish a Philips Innovation Campus in Shanghai to consolidate all China R&D into one campus. The proposed location will be the Shanghai Business Park in Shanghai. The total area of the campus will be around 100.000 square meters. In the first phase 38.000 square meters will be realized for the groups Philips Lighting Electronics Shanghai (PLES) and Philips Research & Development Centre (R&D).



DHV is asked to develop a Master Plan for the Philips Innovation Campus in Shanghai in first phase. Afterward, DHV was assigned to set up a Program of Requirements and Initial Design for this project, including all architectural, structural, mechanical and electrical aspects. In addition, DHV awarded a service contract of client representative manage the project throughout the whole construction period.

Project name: IKEA Beijing
Location: Chaoyang District, Beijing

Abstract:
With the increase of sales, IKEA found that the existing accommodation wasn't sufficient for the amount of customers. Besides that it is located in a building designed for other purposes, and didn't live up to the IKEA concept.

IKEA decided to open up a new retail store in the Chaoyang district (Wangjing). The project consists of four floors of retail area and office area. All parking is accommodated in a three floors deep basement. This makes it the second largest IKEA store in the world.

DHV was assigned to do the full project management, from the Initial Design phase up to the Building Opening in April 2006. This includes all Tendering and Construction Management.
