Luoyang City Urban Traffic Control System Project DHV BV signed the Luoyang City Urban Traffic Control System Project Contract (€4,350,000) in February 20, 2006 in Luoyang city, China. This is a turnkey project. DHV¡¯s service includes system engineering, system integration, hardware procurement, installation and software development Luoyang city is one of the famous Chinese ancient capital cities for 13 dynasties over thousand years. The city has been in the fast track of development towards modernization in the past 20years. Traffic problems are associated with the city development, like elsewhere in China or the world, congestion and out of date facilities are the major issues. The best solution, as the city called, is Intelligent Transportation System (ITS). Joint with Delcan¡¯s expertise, DHV project team will bring world-class advanced traffic control system to Luoyang. The project includes updating the existing system and integrating it into the new system. DHV and Delcan¡¯s software will be customized for Luoyang as the core of the system. The real time traffic monitoring and control will be supported by 9 sub-systems, they are traffic commend centre, optic fibre communication, GIS, information management, wireless communication, traffic induce, electric police, CCTV and traffic control systems. The whole system will handle more than 200 signalized intersections and covers the major road network of the city. The project implementation, overall system integration, equipment sourcing, site installation, testing and commissioning will be started soon after the Contract taking into effect. The project is expecting to be completed before the 2008 Beijing Olympics. By that time, we will be able to see the real time traffic management operation on the 4x6 80¡± screen display in the newly built 600m2 control room located in the government building. Shanghai Siemens Medical Equipment New Headquarter, Nanhui

Zhen Long Eco-Industrial Park (EIP), Conceptual Master Plan and Urban Design, Guangzhou
The uniqueness of the project lies in the freshness of EIP in China and even in the world, which involves a series of advanced ideas and relevant analysis and planning, such as industrial ecology, combining environmental ecology; cyclical economy concept; industrial symbiosis, etc. Additionally, regional competitiveness analysis and development strategies should be visually realized in the EIP master plans. The cyclical economy and industrial analysis are dealt with by both DHV and Sun Yat-sen University.
Construction drawings finished for Tianjin Tongnan Bridge Won second round entry for Liulin Bridge DHV Shanghai won the Tongnan bridge in 2004. After discussing with the client during the half year, we eventually satisfied all the requirements from all the aspects. July.2005,DHV Shanghai and Tianjin Municipal Engineering Design Institute (TMEDI) began to make the preliminary design for the 128M plover combination frame bridge. As it is not confirmed in Chinese standard whether cast steel is be used in bridge, so it is very difficult to use it in the design. The construction drawings in Dec.2005.VHA and DELCAN are the consultants of Tongnan bridge. Now the project is inviting public bidding and examining some major frame components. Due to the fineness action in Tongnan bridge, DHV Shanghai was invited to the Liulin bridge design international competition. The design team is including DHV, VHA and DELCAN. Through expertise evaluation, our concept stands out of 12 competitors and became one of four excellent concepts recommended to the city council. Tianjin municipal government will at last choose 3 concepts to apply on 3 different places on Haihe. Liulin bridge is located in the backward position of Haihe, and Liulin Bridge is located inside the Science and Technology District (STD), near the Outer Ring road. The bridge goes across the 200m wide river. The bridge width is 50m, including 6 vehicle lanes, 2 bike lanes and 2 pedestrian lanes. The bridge connects the Science and Technology District to the north of the Hai He River and the Liulin Scenic Spot to the south of the Hai He River. The design inspiration comes from the dragonflies flying along the river. There is a row of main pier in the middle of the river, from which develops two symmetrical 90m span hanging structure. As the Chinese saying ¡°a dragonfly slightly touching water face¡±, the bridge form is dynamic. Reasonable structure system combining with the creative form is the soul of this design.
December-2005 Pudong Airport Logistics Park Master plan award In the Development Plan ( 2001 ¨C 2005 ) made by Municipal government, the modern logistics industry is one of the focused fields and is one of the planned new economic growth point. In Shanghai¡¯s Short Term Construction Development Plan (2003 ¨C 2007), the Pudong Airport Logistics Park has been defined as one of the four essential logistics bases in Shanghai. By the end of the year 2015, Pudong airport will achieve the cargo capacity of 7 million Tons, becoming one of the cargo hubs in Asia-pacific Region. Under this prosperous and promising development situation, local government launched the international tendering for this planning project, in order to learn from the international experience, to well-study the logistics, and to deepen and optimize the existing plans. After 3 months¡¯ hard working in a good order, Naco and Districon, together with DHV Shanghai, fully used the advantages of each party, and well-utilize the advantages of the local resources, successfully delivered this project. We were recently informed that we have been awarded this contract. November-2005 FSCIP Yachting Industrial Park Master plan awarded November 2005 Shanghai Chemical Industry Park Fengxian Sub-zone Developing Co., Ltd. awards the design of master plan of Yachting Industrial Park where the manufactories producing Super and middle sized yachts to DHV Shanghai and Shanghai FengXian District Design Institute. Shanghai Chemical Industry Park Fengxian Sub-Zone (FSCIP) Yacht Industrial Park (YIP) is located in the south of Shanghai, which belongs to the Yangtze River Delta Area, where the most is developed economy centre in China with plenty of potential clients.
